Day 2 (July 29, 2026):Academic paper presentations, panel sessions with ESG practitioners, the MAPAN ESG Impact Innovation Challenge final pitches, and a Gala Dinner to recognize low-carbon and sustainability achievements.

MAPAN

The Malaysian Association of Public Advocacy for Nature (MAPAN) is a registered non-profit organization (NPO) and NGO that is a participant in, rather than a primary regulator of, the Malaysian ESG scene. Its credibility stems from its role as an advocacy group and facilitator for ESG adoption, particularly among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and its collaboration with stakeholders. Key Aspects of MAPAN's Role and Credibility

Registration and Structure: MAPAN is officially registered with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS) (registration no. PPM-014-10-25032022), establishing it as a legitimate non-profit entity.
Focus and Activities: MAPAN focuses on public awareness, education, and assisting industries with cost-effective and time-efficient ESG adoption. They position themselves as "pacesetters" in ESG advocacy, aiming to bridge the gap between "knowing and implementing" ESG criteria.
Resource Persons: Its founding members include subject matter experts and resource persons from Malaysian local universities in areas such as urban farming, resource recovery, and oxygen parks, lending a level of academic and practical expertise to their initiatives.
